Anita Barone
Anita Barone, a stage actress with a wide range of talent, mostly associated with sitcoms in TV and got the most coveted chance to shine as Jeff Foxworthy's wife in ABC's "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" that aired for a single season from 1995 to 1996. Barone was the first to make a acting appearance in a stage production at the age of 5 in Detroit and was born after moving with her family out of St Louis. She was 23 when Barone had already appeared in 50 shows. Many of them took place on stage in university and regional theaters. Her stage roles included Juliet of Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in an adaptation of "Monday After the Miracle" and also the role as Agnes the young, tormented the nun from "Agnes of God." Her debut on screen was a part-time role in "The The Rosary Murders" and a brief appearance in "Ricochet" along with she played the lead role in the indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" in 1996. Barone was commissioned by NBC between 1990 and 1991 as a stockholder of "Carol and Company" which was the failed attempt by Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety show. Barone also appeared on"Wounded Heart," the USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. Barone returned to sitcoms with a weekly schedule and co-starred in "Daddio", NBC 2000 together co-starring with Michael Chiklis.
