Shay Mitchell is Canadian actress,model and entrepreneur. Most famous for playing Emily Fields, she is the star of the Freeform television show Pretty Little Liars. After exceling in modeling and dancing, she wanted to give it a go at acting. She took acting classes in Toronto. Mitchell landed guest roles and commercials prior to getting the big break. Fans and critics lauded her skills as an actor. The popular actress later gained a reputation on the screen in films like DreamlandMother's Dayand The Possession of Hannah Grace. As a child, Mitchell attended Rockridge Secondary before transferring to the West Vancouver Secondary School. At the end of her teenage years she was modeling for various companies throughout the globe. She travelled across the globe to Barcelona, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, ultimately returning home to Toronto and studying acting.
